The Osprey at Beaver Creek is located in the heart of Beaver Creek, Colorado. It is the closest hotel to a ski lift in north america with access to beginner/intermediate and expert terrain via the Strawberry Express Chairlift.

From Denver International Airport
- Take Pena Boulevard, main airport road, to Interstate 70-I-70 west.
- Take I-70 for approximately 120 miles to exit 167.
- Enter the roundabout and continue left. You will be heading south.
- Continue straight on this road through four more roundabouts.
- After crossing Highway 6, check in at the Beaver Creek Welcome Gates.
- Follow Beaver Creek Road for approximately 2.5 miles
- The Osprey is on the right side of the road, just past the skier bridge. Next to Strawberry Park Ski Lift

Enjoy cross-country skiing, telemark skiing and snowshoeing on the Nordic and back country trails found throughout the Vail Valley. McCoy Park at Beaver Creek features a superb, 32-kilometer track system complete with skating lanes, snowshoe trails and amazing mountaintop views. Vail offers back country tours departing from Golden Peak, as well as gourmet lunch tours and Adventure Ridge sunset tours.

Beaver Creeks world-renowned ski and snowboard school programs are dedicated to providing the most thrilling and rewarding instructional experiences in the world. With more than 1,300 professional instructors, many of whom come from international destinations, Beaver Creeks ski and snowboard school programs offer unparalleled instruction in alpine skiing, snowboarding, childrens lessons and adaptive techniques.
Group Races
Each season the U.S. Ski Team races on a NASTAR course, with the fastest competitor establishing a zero handicap. Throughout the rest of the season, each time someone races, his or her handicap is calculated against the National Pacesetters time. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded based on time, age and gender. NASTAR race courses are located on both Vail and Beaver Creek mountains.

There is no on-site parking for guests staying at Trappers Cabin, so they will be directed to check-in at the Osprey front desk 10 Elk Track Lane, Avon, CO, 81620. From there, the hotel staff will shuttle them to the Trappers Cabin property.
Please note the entire property will be temporarily closed from October 4-November 23, 2026.
